The purposes of DHGMA is to educate its members, to create consumer awareness of herbs and herb products, and to promote the use of herbs.

The Delaware Herb Growers & Marketers Association (DHGMA)...

...is an agricultural commodities and education group dedicated promoting awareness and the use of herbs and herb products.  Membership is open to anyone (INDIVIDUALS OR BUSINESSES) desiring to learn more about the culture and use of herbs, or anyone desiring to share what they already know.

DHGMA participates in several events annually around Delaware and is the primary sponsor of The Delaware Herb Festival® in the spring.  In 2008, The Delaware Herb Festival will be held on May 10 at the U.S. Washington Cooperative Extension Center at Delaware State University in Dover.

General membership meetings are held quarterly and always involve good food, good people, and good times.
